Honey Creek tends to 30 acres of apple trees on its grounds and has nearly 2,500 trees producing apples. This number will continue to grow! In spring of 2008 we planted 420 trees and in 2009 another 385 were added. We have listened to our customers’ requests and have planted your favorites, including HoneyCrisp. We will give these trees a few years to grow and hope to be enjoying the fruit from these ‘baby’ trees within three years of planting.

In the meantime, we are very proud of our older trees which produced thousands of pounds of apples last fall. Our customers enjoyed some old favorites like Jonathan, McIntosh, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious and Cortland while savoring not so familiar varieties (but very tasty!) like Jonadel, Summer Treat, and Lura Red. Our apples are available August all the way through Halloween. Although each variety has its own particular harvest window we assure you if you come visit ANY time during the season you will find plenty of delicious, mouth-watering apples.
